This lesson is designed to make the world of hair colouring one that can be easily understood so that you can go on and colour with confidence.

There are two main areas in colouring, choosing the base shade and identifying the tone your client wants.

Once you understand this part the choice of choosing which peroxide will become much easier giving you the ability to enhance your hair cuts and create mind blowing styles your clients will love you for.

Cap Highlights

Cap highlights are a valid method of colouring the hair.

Although some salons attach old methods not relevant because they don't appear in "vogue".

However, here I show how you can use the cap methods in various ways to give different results.

The cap gives a good barrier between the scalp and the hair colour and in some cases it is essential that this barrier is maintained.

Semi and Permanent hair colouring can vary, they also can very from manufacturer to manufacturer.

It is important to follow manufacturers instructions. However, I'll here I demonstrate the "Skin Test"

This is really important to follow as there are serious implications as a client can have allergic reactions to some hair colours.
